The Pumpkin Wagon: A Family Tradition

It all started in 2001…

At just 11 years old, Carolyn Brummel and Wayne Gehrke began growing their pumpkin operation. The siblings (and twins!) learned to manage The Pumpkin Wagon as children and teenagers, and it provided invaluable experience in business, agriculture, customer relations and marketing.

“We are grateful to all the customers who supported us then, and continue to do so 20 years later ” shared Carolyn.

Despite both Carolyn and Wayne attending college and exploring opportunities away from the farm, the siblings have never missed a year selling pumpkins! They continue to plant unique varieties of produce every year, and add unique fall decor to their line-up.

“Fall is one of our favorite times of the year, and we look forward to welcoming you to our stand,” said Wayne.
